Through Harvard’s Open Collection Program (OCP),
the university’s resources are available online to
students and teachers worldwide. OCP is developing
efficient, replicable methods for creating
comprehensive subject-based digital resources drawn
from holdings in its libraries, archives and museums.
The goal is to develop a new model for digital
collections. Christine Madsen, Manager of OCP,
demonstrates the first two collections on working
women and immigration, and explains how this
resource can be used. The program sponsors are ALS
and ACRL/NEC.
