New England Roundtable of Teen and Children’s Librarians
celebrates 100 years of service for children and youth.
The trip down memory lane begins with Gale Eaton
from the University of Rhode Island describing Alice
Jordan and the founding of the Round Table in 1906 at
the Boston Public Library. Phyllis Wiggin, past chair of
NERTCL, retired, Wellesley (MA) Free Library, shares
her NERTCL memories and those of other past chairs.
Debby Davis, the niece of Alice Jordan, will be our
honored guest. A birthday cake and dreams for the next
century conclude the celebration.
