NELA's Listserv
NELA's listserv is an email discussion group which serves as a forum for the distinctive needs of the NELA community. The list can be used to share ideas, post agendas and locate collaborators for projects.
To Subscribe
All current NELA members are automatically subscribed to the listserv. Your email address (the one you provided to NELA) is the one the listserv will use. If you have not logged into your account under your email address you must do so to reset your password. If you have a problem, please contact NELA's Executive Manager at executivemanager (at) nela1 (dot) org.
If you are not a NELA member but feel you have a legitimate need to participate in the list please email NELA's Technology Manager at technologymanager (at) nela1 (dot) org. Please provide a description of your legitimate need. NELA reserves the right to accept or reject non-NELA members.
Sending a Message to the List
Only currently-subscribed members can post to the list. Other posts will be rejected.
Send your posts to nela-l (at) nela1 (dot) org. All posts must be moderated, so it may take some time.
If you are a non-member wanting to post to this list contact the Technology Manager at technologymanager (at) nela1 (dot) org requesting posting instructions and outlining your intended message.
To Unsubscribe from the List
If you no longer wish to receive NELA listserv messages, please send a request to the NELA Technology Manager at technologymanager (at) nela1 (dot) org. When unsubscribed you will receive a confirmation message.
Listserv Guidelines
The NELA listserv was established to provide a communiciation forum for members of NELA. Members are encouraged to exchange ideas, post questions or position vacancies, announce surplus items for sale or use the list for any library-related purposes of interest to NELA members. Messages dealing with issues specific to one library or one state should not be posted unless they are of regional interest. Commercial announcements and advertisements are not permitted, except those pertaining to professional development or continuing education. NELA reserves the right to refuse messages that do not meet these guidelines.
