Grants & ScholarshipsTo encourage attendance at the NELA Annual Conference. Six grants, no more than one for each New England state, are awarded for the cost of registration and banquet only. No travel expenses are supported. Scholarships are awarded annually as long as funds are available. Applicants must be a NELA member. Applicants are no longer required to be first time attendees to annual conference. Persons who have not previously attended the Annual Conference are given preference, however, we encourage ALL interested parties to apply.
Spectrum Scholarship Grants supplement the ALA Spectrum Scholarships awarded to minority candidates from New England. All New England winners are eligible for these grants.
